Here, After in the Eyes of Fellow Author

‘It’s been quite some time since I’ve encountered a book I call ‘mellow’. This is one of them.

The thing is, most of the book feels real in terms of everyday life scenes, dialogue, the characters.. I don’t find the characters likable, but I have to say that real characters are flawed. I like the fact that the writer puts forward truth in his book, instead of writing about something extremely dramatic and unreasonable (though the book, in its latter chapters, do become more dramatic).

Most of all, I like Mahir’s writing style. His book is something I’d like to write myself, in the future, and that’s the biggest compliment a writer can give to another 🙂

Although I find myself getting depressed from time to time when reading this book, it’s nice to get an ounce of reality, sometimes.’

Kata-kata Winna membuat saya tersanjung, ‘…his book is something I’d like to write myself, in the future, and that’s the biggest compliment a writer can give to another…’ .

Thanks, Winna!
